Breakfast fruit explosion

Here’s a nice little recipe for one of my favourite breakfasts, choose the fruits you like but go for a rainbow of colours!

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • 1 orange
  • 1 persimmon
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 pomegranate
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • A few brazil nuts
  • A small handful of raisins
  • Teaspoon wheatgrass powder
  • Teaspoon hemp protein powder

Chop the fruit into a big breakfast bowl, and for the pomegranate get all of the little seeds rather than just squeezing. Chop the orange finely so that it releases as much juice as possible. Add the raisins on top. Save the lemon for last.

Blend the nuts and seeds into powder with the hemp and wheatgrass powders. I use a coffee grinder that has never seen any coffee!

Sprinkle the resulting powder onto the fruit and mix well with the fruity goodness. Now take the lemon and squeeze the juice on top through your fingers to catch the pips 🙂
